Balloon Play

Today was so much fun! I suprised the children by hanging balloons all over the classroom. When they walked in they were so excited. I told them that for the first session we were going to be scientists and just observe. We saw the balloons sway a little and spoke about it. We observed some balloons being big and some small. There were so many questions!

For our second session we had some fun activities to share together. We did balloon colour mixing with paints, we had a sensory table with balloons, jelly and ice, we had flyswats to practice our hitting and tennis skills and we collaged balloons and created funny faces and objects. A really fun day!
