Starting your own preschool can be one of the best things that you do for you and your family! If you have a passion for preschoolers aged 3-5 years of age then here’s why you should think about starting a preschool.

There is great flexibility when you can start a preschool from home. There is no traffic or rush in the morning. I find I have a much better work life balance by doing so. I love the independence I have to be able to do so.

One of the biggest reasons I started my own preschool was to not miss any moments in my own children’s lives. I get to stay home for and with my family. My little boy also happens to be able to be part of my preschool. He makes new friends and I get paid to have him with me 🙂

I believe if you have a passion for 3-5 year olds then you can build a business you love. If you currently work in a school you can start this business as a side hustle then when you decide to change your hours or even leave you have many options. Like so many Mums deciding to have children is one of the greatest blessings in life. However this does come with sacrifices. In my case I decided to put full time teaching to one side and be with my little boy at home. This decision came with a financial sacrifice, but I wouldn’t change that for the world!!! Pursuing relief always meant trying to find care – which can be costly and difficult to organise on the spur of the moment. BUT now because I have started my own preschool I can have consistent and reliable income. I also have options to growing and scaling my preschool business which is very exciting too!

I love that I can set what my day looks like. My rhythm is without rushing. I get to have breakfast with my kids. Make dinner, put on a load of washing all while working from home. There are no bells that are rung. You can let the children play and be children!

When you start your own preschool you get to be your own boss! This is the best part and most exciting part about starting your own preschool! I determine what we do! The flexibility of this is so freeing. No meetings demanding my time. It’s perfect for me and can be perfect for you when you start your own preschool business!
